A space for escape, tackling the important conversations and getting lost in creativity.
Author: Jade Elouise
I am a psychology student and freelance writer, who writes non-fiction articles, as well as poetry and creative stories. Having always been an avid reader, from a young age I used books as a way to escape the harsh realities of the world, before putting pen to paper myself as a method of self expression. As a plus size, mixed race woman who is affected by hyper-mobility, anxiety, depression and ED, most of my work explores topics which are really close to my heart, such as race, gender, mental health, sexuality and body image.
I have contributed articles to magazines such as She Might Be and Fearless Femme, and I am a regular contributor at The Unedit, though most of my writing, both fiction and non-fiction can be found on Life on the Plus Side.
