Behind Life on the Plus Side
My name is Jade Elouise, and I am the creator of Life on the Plus Side. A few things you should know about me: I’m a fat, mixed race, bisexual student who experiences chronic and mental illness. My biggest loves are promoting body positivity and inclusivity for all individuals, advocating for mental health awareness, and embracing self-expression in all forms!
As a society I feel that we aren’t in touch with each other’s experiences nearly as much as we could be, and these barriers between us create misunderstandings and miscommunications which could be so easily avoided just by becoming better allies to one another.
I created this site to be a space where people can go when in need of advice, and when they want to connect with the world and feel a sense of community. I want this to be a safe space for all to share their stories if they wish, so if you feel as though there is anything missing from the blog that you’d love to see, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
